Crystal View, Inc. will be displaying examples of its
complete line of video projectors
and plasma displays at three venues
during the 2005 CES.
Crystal
View’s Model CV-1, top of
the line 9-inch CRT projector will
be providing the HDTV picture in
the renowned DTS home theater exhibit.
Booth N240 LVCC MTG RM
The CV-1 is the finest CRT projector ever produced,
containing the accumulated CRT technology
of Electrohome,VDC,Vidikron, Madrigal
Imaging, and Crystal View’s
own engineering. Like all Crystal
View products, the CV-1 is paired
with its own separate CV-NNR2-DVI
video processor and the pair is
calibrated for optimum performance
from every source. A free in-home
final calibration by an ISF certified
technician is included in the price
of every Crystal View CRT projector.
In this way, the owner can be assured
that the potential picture quality
in his home theater will be fully
equal to that of the one seen at
CES.
The Model CV-720HD+, DLP projector will fill the screen
at the Nova/Earthquake Sound theater
room. Booth 2075
LVCC SOUTH 1
The CV-720HD+ uses the latest, high contrast HD-2+ DMD
from Texas
Instruments and a seven-segment,
high-speed color wheel. It is rated
for 1200 ANSI Lumens and a contrast
ratio of over 3000. The CV-720HD+
light engine is enclosed in a sleekly
molded outer shell that incorporates
an invisible ceiling mount and cable
entry. It also absorbs much of the
projector fan noise, bringing the
level down to under 28 dB, and catches
the last little bit of light leakage
to extend the projector’s
contrast ratio.
The CV-50HD, 50-inch plasma, in a Sound-Art loudspeaker
frame, will be showing continuous
HDTV at the Lumagen/Crystal View
booth Alexis Park/AP2504. Crystal View personnel will also be available at that
booth.
The CV-50HD is an outstanding plasma display with many
features including 10-bit digital
video processing that completely
eliminates visible posterization.
The Sound-Art loudspeaker frame
invisibly incorporates speakers
designed and manufactured by Snell
Acoustics for audiophile sound quality
and extended frequency response.
The combination is a complete, high
quality A/V system with no visible
clutter, typical of plasmas with
ordinary accessory loudspeakers.
The Sound-Art loudspeaker frame
itself was so popular at the 2004
CES that Crystal View has now made
them available to custom fit all
popular models of plasma displays
and sells them separately through
dealers and distributors.
Crystal View, Inc. was founded in June of 2002 upon
the acquisition of the Vidikron
of America CRT projector product line. In December
of that year, the company acquired
the assets and product lines of
Madrigal Imaging which included
advanced CRT and DILA projectors.
In addition to providing support
for these two product lines, Crystal
View improved upon them with its
own line of CRT projectors built
upon the same, highly regarded Marquee
chassis.
Crystal View’s sister company, HI-REZ Projections,
founded in 1992, runs one of the
largest video service operations
in the country. HI-REZ Service,
Inc. is also a factory authorized
service center for many brands of
video equipment, including Harman,
Pioneer and Runco. All Crystal View
products are processed through this
facility where they are modified,
assembled, calibrated, and burned
in prior to shipping.
